Marriott Hamarain, Dubai: Nadine + Khaled

Do you remember the crazy winter that unfolded in the UAE this year in February? Traffic ravaged the streets of Dubai, the cold wind made you shiver and the crazy waves recorded at Jumeirah Beach went viral on Facebook!?

This blog story took place that night and to record it, I drove to Marriott Hamarain. As Dubai enjoyed lashing rains on its window panes, my team and I were booting up to document another beautiful wedding - the wedding of Nadine and Khaled, or now known as Mr. and Mrs. Kaddoura.

Their love bloomed on the world wide web, particularly MSN Messenger (Oh Lord, where have those days gone! If you're too young to know what the Windows Live Messenger was, you can Wiki it here!). After years of togetherness, these young lovers celebrated their love with their huge families and with a fiery zaffeh, a grand double entrance for the bride + groom and their huge celebratory wedding cake (that had an entrance of its own!)

In a very dramatic sense, as the storm was brewing up outside, the families with the bride and groom, were dancing up a storm inside with loud music on the dance floor and hearty laughter!
