Royal M Hotel, Abu Dhabi: May + Yassine

When I received an email from my bride May, I knew we’d make it work. Her appreciation for photos and love for simplicity and her partner Yassine made it easy for me - I knew I wanted to be at her wedding!

Like all of us living and working in the UAE, these 2 met at the job - doing what they love the most. May, a Senior Marketing Manager and Yassine, a chef at Sofitel Hotel Abu Dhabi. A few back and forth banter, and the couple celebrated their love in a small wedding ceremony with a guest list of 20 - in the old Hilton of Abu Dhabi and now the new Radisson Blu.

Getting into her Moroccan kaftan at the Royal M Hotel in Abu Dhabi, May picked up her DIY paper flower bouquet that her friend made her as an ever lasting wedding gift (I know right!? It’s amazing to have talented friends!). Looking dashing in his tux, Yassine too was prepped by his best men as the two got ready to welcome their guests.

Having families apart, our bride’s mother flew in from the Philippines to orchestrate the wedding of her daughter where the two simply looked into each other’s eyes, said their vows that made everyone including myself tear up!
